Santa Cruz-based Americana band Flypaper Blues is straight out of your grandfather's rifle barrel. A little whiskey, coffee grinds, 2-in-1 oil, and a whole lot of fiddle, driving drums, and bass rhythms. This 100% homegrown, local band brings influences from traditional bluegrass, post-punk, ragtime, to alt-country genres. Songwriting is personal, comedic, and inspired by the existential need to transcend the hazards and pitfalls of modern life with soul-nourishing music.

Bingo Bongard
Congratulations to our bass player, Kevin! He and Ruth brought Guy Lucius Bingo Bongard into the world on October 1st. We may not be able to play gigs in the near future but be ready when we do! We will have new songs and one of our newest, biggest fans in the audience!

Thank you to all our fans for your support over the past year. We've ventured off on our first multi-state tour and are making plans for the next one! We're taking a holiday break and will be back in 2023 with a new calendar of gigs. We look forward to playing at familiar and new venues! Have a safe holiday seasons, and see you in the new year!

Start your holiday weekend off with us at Moe's Alley, Santa Cruz with a night of great music, dancing, and fun! We're ecstatic to open for the touring band Ha Ha Tonka. Doors open at 8 pm. Music starts at 9 pm. Friday night tickets are for sale! $15 advance purchase/$20 at the door.
